Developing spinal injury services

Sarah Moore joins the MASCIP committee

We're pleased to report that Sarah Moore, senior spinal injury case manager, has been co-opted on to the committee for the Multidisciplinary Association of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (MASCIP).

The committee’s role is to “jointly lead MASCIP, providing a national professional forum to promote standards in clinical practice, foster research and encourage the development of health and social care services for people with spinal cord injuries”.

Sarah is a registered nurse with extensive experience in caring for individuals with spinal cord and orthopaedic injury. She leads our specialist spinal injury team in Sheffield and is working with our clinical management team to develop this service across the company.

Sarah is looking forward to using her specialist skills and experience to help the committee to reach sound decisions and work to improve services for people with spinal injuries.
