Levi is picked for the IMMAF World Championships

Levi Steedman, administrator at our Manchester office, has been selected to represent the UK at the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation’s World Championships 2018.

Despite participating in a number of competitions, winning a gold medal for grappling in 2017 and coming out on top at her first MMA fight at Cage Warriors in June 2018, Levi was surprised to be picked following the UK team trials during July.

“I didn’t think I had done well enough to be picked,” says Levi. “I wasn’t picked for the Open Championships in China (in September 2018), so I thought that idea had just fallen through.”

The competition takes place over 3 days this November, in Bahrain, with 250 amateur fighters from over 42 countries around the world. To gain world champion status, a fighter must win all the fights within their weight category.

We wish Levi every bit of luck for the competition.

We’re proud of all our administrators, who provide an excellent support service to our clinical teams. We’re currently seeking a confident and proactive administrator to join our Sheffield team. Find out more
