Going the extra miles for CBIT

Posted on: 23rd May 2014

On Saturday 17th May, Case Manager Rob Wagstaff walked 38.2 miles between our Sheffield and Manchester offices to raise funds for the Children's Brain Injury Trust.

Rob would like to send his thanks to everyone who supported him through the long walk over the Snake Pass on what was probably the hottest day of the year so far. After a day of Motivational Interviewing training he was then forced to motivate himself for the walk ahead - the temptation of the Lady Bower and Snake Pass pubs being almost too much for him to resist.

There were some interesting sights along the way, and the three people who stopped to offer him a lift (tempting though they were) were all encouraged to make donations too.

8 hours and 40 minutes after starting his journey, he was never so pleased to see the Manchester HIlton! Way to go Rob!
