Mary Gilman joins BABICM’s Children & Young People sub group

Senior case manager Mary Gilman has been co-opted onto the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) Children & Young People sub group.

This group has a maximum of up to 9 members, all currently working with this client group, from a variety of backgrounds such as occupational therapy, nursing, social work and education.

The purpose of the group is to recognise the issues specific to those working with children and young people; it provides useful information and relevant training for case managers from all professional backgrounds, in co-operation with the BABICM training group.

Mary is a paediatric nurse by background, with extensive experience in managing paediatric complex care packages within the NHS and the private sector, and is leading our CYP team in Manchester.

We’re pleased to continue our close ties with BABICM and other professional bodies, working to develop and improve services for people with acquired brain injury.
