Salary: £11.00 per hour (weekdays); £12.00 per hour (weekends); £60.00 per sleep-in shift weekdays; £70.00 per sleep-in-shift weekends; double time on Bank Holidays

Brief description

About the role:

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and proactive Support Worker to work with a young person with a traumatic brain injury in her own home, school and support accessing the local community.

You will assist and facilitate the client to participate in everyday activities at home and in the community. Duties will include acting as driver and supporting her to participate in meaningful activities and school run. Supervision and training will be provided.

You will work alongside therapists to support her rehabilitation programme and to increase her independence both at home, school and in the community.

About us:

JS Parker Ltd (JSP) provides an essential service to both adults and children who have suffered brain and spinal injury. Qualified staff assess clients’ needs and offer individually designed case management and rehabilitation programmes. The company was established in 1994 and is now a successful rehabilitation and case management consultancy, working in close co-operation with the legal profession. We now have five offices employing around 80 staff. We manage over 400 support workers and provide services to just under 400 clients nationally.

JSP is not an agency. Recruitment of staff for small, personalised care teams is part of our case management service and is undertaken on behalf of individuals using this service.


About you:

  • you are flexible and you work well under pressure
  • you have a full, clean UK driving licence


  • you have experience of supporting children and young people with a brain injury
  • you have experience in working with clients and their families, in their own homes
