Hours: Full Time; approximately 35 hours per week, weekday and weekends including some night shifts, additional hours will be available to cover annual leave and sickness
Salary: £10.50 per hour weekday, £11.00 weekends, £21.00 bank holidays (double the standard hourly rate) sleep-ins £8.91 (in line with NMW).

About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Personal Assistant to support a very sociable lady with cerebral palsy in the Garforth area of Leeds.

You will support her with her weekly activities and help her stay connected to her social networks, both at home and in the community, promoting an active and fulfilling lifestyle as well as facilitating personal care and domestic duties.

Training and supervision will be given.

About us:

JS Parker Ltd (JSP) provides an essential service to both adults and children who have suffered brain and spinal injury. Qualified staff assess clients’ needs and offer individually designed case management and rehabilitation programmes. The company was established in 1994 and is now a successful rehabilitation and case management consultancy, working in close co-operation with the legal profession. We now have five offices employing around 80 staff. We manage over 400 support workers and provide services to just under 400 clients nationally.

JSP is not an agency. Recruitment of staff for small, personalised care teams is part of our case management service and is undertaken on behalf of individuals using this service.


About you:


  • ability to be flexible with regards to shift cover to meet the client’s needs and at times at short notice
  • committed to teamwork
  • the availability to work overtime
  • you must possess a full UK driving licence
  • you are able to drive automatic and manual vehicles
  • you are happy to drive, including long motorway journeys
  • ability to build a trusting relationship


  • you have experience of supporting someone with a complex physical conditions
