Safeguarding adults training
Safeguarding adults training for support workers
We all have a responsibility when it comes to safeguarding our clients. You work closely with your clients on a day to day basis, building trust and a strong rapport with them. Clients will often tell you things that really matter to them. Therefore, it’s important to know how to respond and what to do if they disclose sensitive information, such as being abused.
This training explores the key aspects of adult abuse, including relevant legislation and what you should do if your client discloses or you suspect abuse.
How long is the training?
2.5 hours
Who is the training for?
Support workers who have never had safeguarding adults training before and those who have previously had training two or more years ago
